I’m Published!

I am beyond happy to tell everyone that my first novel has been published as an e-book and is available for Kindle (or other e-readers) on amazon.com.

It is entitled, Brothers in the Skin by Tim Hobson.
Wow! I can’t believe it’s actually out there and for sale!

The e-book is the first third of the Going Gay/Bruce story that many of you have read on this blog over the past year (that is, before I had to take it all down in order to publish it). If you’ve read this blog, you will recognize the story, but the final product is the result of much editing and rewriting, and I think it’s really a lot better for all that effort.

Here’s the blurb on Amazon:

Bruce Hartleigh has everything going for him. He is 18 years old, the son of a wealthy industrialist, captain of the swim team in his senior year at a private high school outside Denver, and headed to Stanford in the fall to study aerospace engineering.
There’s just one problem: Bruce is becoming aware that he is attracted to men—his coach, his teammates, and especially his best friend, Craig.
The year is 1981 and being “queer” is the most terrifying thing Bruce can imagine. He struggles with the emerging realization of his sexuality and his desire for Craig. Finally, Bruce must face his fears and accept his desires, and Craig will be the first to know.

To find the e-book, you have to select Kindle Store (not “Books”) and then type “brothers in the sand tim hobson” in the search field.

And the best news… it is free to read for now with kindle unlimited, or you can download your own personal copy for $2.99.

And one request. Amazon ranks books and e-books by how many people choose the book, and how much of it they read. So… I would appreciate it if you would find it, read all of it, and review it, if possible. [In order to post a review, you have to be a registered Amazon customer who has spent at least $50 over the past three months. If you’re anything like me, you have probably spent that much and more!]

I also welcome comments and reviews here on my blog, so please let me know how you like it.

The second installation of the series is in final editing, and the third is getting close. I hope to post each of them about two weeks apart.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement, and happy reading!
